This week we're fine tuning websites for the class. We're using Weebly and you'll be able to refine your site all semester long as the project develops. For now, get the framework done and organized and then refine it as the course builds and work on the van gets going. Have a solid framework for your website done by Thursday September 2.
After this, we break up into groups of 3-4 to begin the design phase. Each group will be responsible for coming up with an interior design either on paper or computer driven. Once done, we'll hang them up in the hallway for all students to vote on. The design voted for the most wins.

It's time to figure out how to document the van build and the best way is to create a website using Weebly. It's free, easy to use, and allows a lot of flexibility.
Each of you will be responsible for your own website, unique and wonderful to yourself. Make it your own...use your own fonts, style, artistic awesomeness, and broadcast your learning and van build to the world!!! Here's a few van websites I enjoy reading and following. Please go through them and see what you like and don't like so that you can start to figure out what you're website will look like. FarOutRide Gnomadhome CargoVanConversion UPSPLASH We will get started on this in class tomorrow, August 27 but please feel free to get going tonight if you want to. Cheers and welcome to Van Conversion - Engineering Mathematics. I'm very excited for this year and this class. |
